What You'll Need
The Impact We Make Together
The Whitehall Food Pantry continues to expand its outreach to individuals and families throughout Whitehall and surrounding communities.
Some families turn to the pantry for short-term emergency assistance, while others face ongoing hardships and rely on continued support throughout the year. Through community generosity and volunteer dedication, the pantry remains committed to helping neighbors with compassion and dignity.
Food Supply
Approximately 50% of our food is supplied through Second Harvest Food Bank using state and federal assistance programs based on community need.
Second Harvest supports six counties throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and distributes more than four million pounds of food annually through 84 partner pantries like ours.
In recent years, both our pantry and Second Harvest have experienced significant declines in food availability due to economic and political pressures, increasing the importance of local community support.
Community Partnerships
The remaining food supply comes from generous donations made by individuals, churches, civic organizations, and local businesses throughout the community.
